Hello! My name is Stacy Constantine. I am currently 27 years old and live in Manchester, CT. I have lived in Connecticut for my entire life and absolutely love it here. I have been teaching sixth grade at the same school since graduating from the University of Hartford in 2006. For these past five years, I have been teaching Language Arts and Social Studies. Beginning next year, I will be adding math into my curriculum as well. I am incredibly apprehensive about the situation, but also excited about teaching something new. When not teaching and taking classes for my master's degree, I can usually be found participating in a community theatre production somewhere in Connecticut. I absolutely love to sing, dance, and act. In order to reach me, e-mail is probably best: stacy.constantine@waldenu.edu or stacyconstantine@hotmail.com. I do have a twitter account, but rarely check it @theatregirl321. Lastly, I am able to skype: theatergirl321
Hi, my name is Joanne Crooks. I am originally from a small rural town in upstate NY. I live in Morrisville, NC which is just outside Raleigh. I just recently became a grandmother for the first time and am enjoying every moment with my precious granddaughter. I have three daughters and one son. My son is a Marine reservist and was attending NC State until he was activated in May. He is currently in CA for desert training and is being deployed to Afghanistan at the end of August or September. My third daughter has moved home from Greenville and will be finishing her last year of college with East Carolina University through distance education. She is majoring in elementary education and will do her student teaching in the spring of 2012. I have been teaching at the same high school for 10 years. During the last five years my focus has been geometry, but I have taught many different versions of algebra I, technical math II, advanced functions and math, pre-algebra, and intro to high school math. I love learning how to use technology in my personal life as well as to help students "see" theorems. I have been using Twitter for about 6 months as PLN and have been surprised at the relationships developed already. I started to set up a wiki last summer but did not do very much with it because I did not know how to use it for student learning. I am looking forward to working with everyone and learning how to set up and use a wiki. I can be reached at joanne.crooks@waldenu.edu or jcrooks@nc.rr.com If anyone has a twitter account, I can be found @jomrosa.

My name is Tim Trotta. I live in Baltimore, MD and teach physics and calculus at Archbishop Curley High School. I also teach other subjects as needed. Next year I will also teach chemistry. Last year I taught environmental science. I am looking for ways to bring better technology integration into my school. One thought that has popped into my head is to see if our school can use a wiki for its announcements as opposed to them being emailed out to all members of the faculty and staff. This page could also be used in the event a baseball game is cancelled due to rain. I am also looking for ways to use a wiki in my classroom. I am fairly flexible, although I do have a 11 month old baby. Nothing goes off as scheduled when a baby is involved. I can be reached at timothy.trotta@waldenu.edu. However, I usually get my email at timtrotta@verizon.net much faster as it is always open. I do not have to go through the whole logging in process just to check my email.
